New Brighton head coach Jim Carr unleashed a talented stable of running backs including Scott Florence, Jeff Nixon and Brian Smith. Other notable Little Lions included quarterback Andy Holeran, Scott Alaksin, Mario Monac, John Scott, Tim Brown and Nick Klutka. Chippewa was led by star quarterback Dante Calabria, Ryan Wissner, Shawn Micheal, Dale Carothers and Matt Taylor.
